One evening, while I was taking a stroll, I accidentally slipped and fell into a chilly, muddy ditch. I couldn't find my way out! I must have been stuck there for a while until a kind man, who was out walking his dog, found me. Thankfully, he took me straight to Prickly Pigs Hedgehog Rescue. They were so nice! They had to give me a bath right away to wash off all the cold, slimy water. It felt really strange but also nice to be all clean again. The people at the rescue took such good care of me until I felt all better. When I was strong enough, I happily went back to where I lived, feeling grateful for the help I received.
A hedgehog can have between 3 and 5 hoglets in a litter and because our winters are getting milder they can have 2 litters a year.
