I wasn't feeling well and was out in the daytime when someone found me and brought me to Prickly Pigs Hedgehog Rescue. They figured out what was wrong and gave me some special medicine until I felt better. The people there were really kind and took good care of me until I was strong enough to go back home. When I was all better, I went back to the garden where they found me, ready to explore the wild again. It felt good to be back, surrounded by familiar smells and sounds, knowing that I had a second chance to enjoy life to the fullest

Every year the rescue admits hedgehogs that have been caught in netting. So, please remember to put away sports netting or make sure garden netting is lifted up off the ground.
